Claire Lefebvre (she/her) lives and works on Wurundjeri Land in Melbourne, australia and in 2014 completed a Master of Fine Arts, with Distinction. Her five solo shows in Melbourne include "Lush Layer Light" at ODCE (2018), "Awe Is What Moves Us Forward" at Alternating Current Art Space (2017), "United States of Curiosity" at Red Gallery (2016), "Luminous Numinous" at Tinning Street Presents (2016) and "New Work" at Side Car Gallery (2013). Her numerous group exhibitions include "Red Stocking" (Red Gallery, 2016), “For the Love of Colour” (Gallerysmith Project Space, 2015) and “Real Delirium” (N/A Gallery, 2014). Claire was shortlisted for the M Collection Prize and won the RMIT MFA Alumni Prize in 2014, was named a finalist in both the Albany Art Prize and the Hornsby Art Prize in 2015 and was shortlisted for the St Kevin's Art Show in 2019. She recently completed a residency in Apollo Bay, Victoria as part of the Winter Wild Festival 2021.
