Claire Lefebvre's painting practice uses layering to prompt curiosity and moments of discovery. She believes that fascination and awe can create paradigm shifts. She is interested in how this relates to, and might be explored through, the material possibilities of paint and the power of colour.

Claire seeks to address how wonderment can create shifts across diverse groups of people. She believes these ideas are important given the current social and political climate.
